About us

All about my husband and me….
What is his name? Tyler Morgan Higgins
How long have you been together? Married 3 years in August
How long did you date? Over a year
Who said I love you first? I did!! It slipped out, I didn't mean to say it. Tyler just sat there looking at me with a little smile on his face and I was completely awkward.
Who is taller? Tyler
Who does the laundry? Tyler!!
Who sleeps on the right? I do.
Who pays the bills? It's all Ty. When we first got married, I fought him on that a little bit. But he is so good at it and I love not having to worry about it.
Who mows the lawn? We usually take turns.
Who cooks dinner? Usually me, but that's ok because Ty does all the laundry!
Who drives when you are together? Always Ty.
Who is more stubborn? I think Tyler is, but he would say that I am.
Who kissed who first? He kissed me first! But only after some big hints from me! He was pretty foward though which is not at all like him.
Who asked who out first? We kind of planned it together... but I guess he did.
Who proposed? He did.
Who has more siblings? Tied- Ty has 3 sisters and one bro, I have 2 sisters and two brothers.
Who wears the pants? I like to say that we each have one leg in the same pair of pants!

Happy Birthday Kori

Happy Birthday yesterday Kori!
We love you!

Australia

Our trip to Australia was the best.
I got to see Sarah- I love her and miss her!
We got to feed kangaroos and see platypuses, dingos and wombats.
We stayed in a beautiful little beach town, Lorne, off of the Great Ocean Road.
We had an adventure driving on the wrong side of the road, in the wrong side of the car.
We fell in love with Footy (Australian Rules Football) after going to a game at Telstra Dome (Go Adelaide Crows!).
We love fresh fish & chips.
We love downtown Melbourne, Federations Square, the Yarra River, Queen Victoria Market and the trams.
We love TimTams- the best cookies ever.
We played on the beach.
We love Albert Square and St. Kilda.

Getting home was an adventure. We got stuck in Sydney.
We wanted to sight-see but we were too tired. We ate TimTams in our hotel room and fell asleep to Aussie TV.
Australia was fun!
G'Day!

Sisters

I love my sisters.

Both with blazing red hair.
I'm proud of them.
Emmy & Missy, the best.

Seattle

About a month ago, Tyler and I went to Seattle to see the sights and visit his mission companion, Mike Hancock and his wife Melissa.

Seattle was beautiful, we loved Pike Place Market.

Mike & Melissa were wonderful hosts, and their little girl Madilyn is adorable.

Sister Rasmussen

I miss Melissa.
Here are some pictures from her farewell, at the MTC and a few from the week before she left.

Feliz Cumpleanos Chelito

Happy Birthday Chelo-
Our family wouldn't be the same without you.
We love you!
