We love Chile!

Tonight we get to go to Tyler's mission reunion for the Chile, Concepcion mission. We get to see President Romney and his wife, plus some of Tyler's mission buddies. Our favorite friends from Ty's mission-Mike and Melissa Hancock- aren't going to be there. But, hopefully we will get to see them before they move to Seattle. We want to meet their cute little daughter, Madilyn Marie!

Baby Talk

I love babies. I mean I love them. Even all the gross stuff they do is sweet. My newest little nephew Owen is supremely fat and calm, like a little Buddha. So cute. Cute just like his brothers, Ethan and Max.

Congratulations to Brett and Michelle Peterson who just welcomed their second little girl- Paige Peterson. Michelle is one of the cutest moms ever.

Not to mention my sis-in-law Lisa, who is having a girl. We are so excited. The baby is going to be beautiful- the only question is whether she will have huge brown eyes like Dallin or huge blue eyes like Austin.

Next weekend we are flying down to southern Utah to go to our niece's baptism. She is our favorite (and only!) niece. We get another cute little niece courtesy of Lisa and Bryce soon though!

Snowy Day in Spring

I woke up this morning to snow. A few days ago it was shorts & t-shirt weather, now it is freezing. I guess I shouldn't be suprised because this happens every year in Utah. Anyway.

Tyler got back last week from a 4-day business trip to Milwaukee. It was hard being away from each other that long- it was the longest we've been apart since we got married. Melissa stayed with me for two nights and we had a lot of fun, so it wasn't all bad.

Our new place is starting to feel like home. The spare bedroom is still filled with boxes that we haven't been able to motivate ourselves to unpack yet, but we usually just keep the door shut and try to forget it is there.

Our neighbors are a little strange though. The woman that lives above us turns her tv up really loud and likes to fall asleep to it. So, when Tyler and I lay in bed, trying to get to sleep, we get to listen to what she is watching. We joked about buying a universal remote and trying to switch off the tv through the ceiling. Sigh.

Another neighbor likes to stare at us with her huge eyes. Really- she doesn't smile or wave, just looks us right in the eye and stares. And finally, our other neighbors work at a Chinese restaraunt and don't speak much English- but they seem nice. We want to make friends with them so that they will bring us leftover food each night. It hasn't happened yet though.
